As Uganda was moving into a brighter future, Entrepreneur Dr. Dan Twebaze, identified, in the mid 90’s, market demand for improved accommodations. Acting as a sole proprietor, with very limited resources, but with a disciplined execution approach, combined with hard work, Dr. Twebaze successfully delivered a 26 flat-lets housing project, building a good reputation within the financial community for efficient delivery of real estate.
After serving the public for some years, acquiring practical knowledge and skills in urban development and managing large social and infrastructure projects, Dr. Twebaze again identified a market opportunity – the need for good office space in the CBD. This lead to the formation of TWED Company in 2005. The company aimed to provide high quality cost efficient property solutions for business clients. The combination of professionalism, hard work, and strong business ethics have led to the successful delivery of TWED Plaza in 2007, and TWED Towers in 2011, one of the leading business properties in Kampala.
