Dr Dan Twebaze

Chairman & Managing Director

Dr. Twebaze is an experienced property developer since 1993, where he targeted a gap in a niche market of life starter apartments. He has since acquired good property development and management skills. He has been the Chairman/Managing Director of the company since incorporation.


The majority shareholder and founder director of the company is Dr. Twebaze (55 years); with a MBCHB degree (Medicine) and a Master of Public Health both of Makerere University, an MBA from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI) and a Diploma in Urban Management and Governance at Uganda Management Institute.


His previous employment before joining private sector included Kampala City Council (currently Kampala Capital City Authority) for a period of 6 years where he among others, specialized in Urban and Business Management including large scale infrastructure funded by international governments – AFD (French Government), and followed BTC (Belgian Government).

Mr. Patrick Kabonero

 

Mr. Patrick Kabonero, founder of PKPF Consultants, brings 44 years of expertise in banking, with a specialization in property finance and development. Since 1987, he has served on multiple corporate boards, leveraging his deep industry knowledge. He has attended esteemed housing finance programs, including the Center for Housing and Urban Development Studies in the Netherlands and the Wharton Real Estate Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.

 

Eng. Kabanga Joseph

 

Eng. Kabanga Joseph is a registered Senior Engineer with over 48 years of experience in infrastructure design and water supply. He has been instrumental in various government projects, collaborating with international consultants and contributing to key developments within Kampala Capital City Authority. He currently holds the position of Principal Civil Engineer Director at Alliance Consultants Limited, where he continues to drive excellence in engineering and infrastructure development.

 

Mr. Solomon Rubondo

 

Mr. Solomon Rubondo is a distinguished property insurance specialist and a Graduate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (UK). With 38 years of experience in the insurance industry, he has played key roles in organizations such as the Private Sector Foundation, East African Financial Markets, and the Uganda Insurance Association. He is also a fellow of the Insurance Institute of Uganda. Mr. Rubondo serves as a Board Member of Mbale Resort Hotel, a premier four/five-star hotel in Eastern Uganda.

Julia Nassimbwa


Director of Finance & Administration



Ms. Julie Nassimbwa is a seasoned finance and administration professional with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in financial management, taxation, budgeting, and administrative operations, including human resource management. Holding a B.Sc. in Finance & Accounting and a Diploma in Business Administration from Kyambogo University, she is committed to delivering efficiency, compliance, and value-driven solutions.

Ian Twebaze


Chief of Developments, Logistics, Finance & Marketing

With a degree in Management & Finance from the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Ian acts as Chief of Developments, Logistics, Finance & Marketing at TWED, Ian Twebaze spearheads the strategic growth of premium real estate and various ventures. From luxury hotels to high-end logistics and commercial spaces, he drives innovation, investment, and strategic market positioning to elevate TWED’s presence as a leader in Uganda’s real estate landscape.

Natasha Twebaze


Head of Legal & Compliance


Natasha Twebaze is a skilled legal professional specializing in real estate, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. As Head of Legal & Compliance at TWED, she ensures the company adheres to legal frameworks while facilitating seamless business operations and strategic growth.


She holds a Law Degree from the University of Nottingham and a Law Degree from Makerere University, equipping her with a strong foundation in international and local legal systems. With expertise in contract negotiation, corporate governance, and risk management, Natasha plays a pivotal role in safeguarding TWED’s interests and driving its long-term success.
